NOTE: The Bridge at South Fabius River just south of Newark will be closing for repairs. Work begins February 20th, with a tentative closure of 54 days. A detour is available over MO Routes 156 and 15, and Route E. Please plan accordingly. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but grateful that the bridge is being repaired.

From the southwest, like Kansas City:
Take Highway 36 East to Shelbina. North on Highway 15 at Shelbina (through Shelbyville and Bethel). About 2 miles north of Bethel on Highway 15 take Heartland Drive (Hwy. E) to the right (east) which is open to Heartland. Stay on Heartland Drive (Hwy E) for about 4 miles and turn left (west) on the road leading to a water tower with Heartland written on it and a cross on top of it.
From the southeast, like St. Louis, Hannibal:
Take Highway 36 West to Shelbina. North on Highway 15 at Shelbina (through Shelbyville and Bethel). About 2 miles north of Bethel on Highway 15 take Heartland Drive (Hwy E) to the right (east) which is open to Heartland. Stay on Heartland Drive (Hwy E) for about 4 miles and turn left (west) on the road leading to a water tower with Heartland written on it and a cross on top of it.
From the northeast, like Quincy, Illinois:
Take Highway 6 West and turn left at Highway 156 in Ewing, Missouri. DETOUR: Continue through Newark to Highway 15. Turn left at intersection of 156 & 15, continue through Plevna to the intersection of 15 and Heartland Drive (Hwy. E, which is open to Heartland). Turn left for about 4 miles and turn left (west) on the road leading to a water tower with Heartland written on it and a cross on top of it.
From the northwest, like Kirksville:
Take Highway 6 East out of Kirksville about 25 miles to Route 15. Turn right (south) on Highway 15 and go about 10 miles. DETOUR: Continue on through Plevna to the intersection of 15 and Heartland Drive (Hwy. E, which is open to Heartland). Turn left for about 4 miles and turn left (west) on the road leading to a water tower with Heartland written on it and a cross on top of it.
